High Quality Legal Content Writing for Professionals Who Value Their Message

Creating Quality Written Content for Lawyers

Hello and welcome! I’m Lisa Parrella. After practicing law for 20 years, I decided to use my legal skills in an unconventional way. (Would that be “disrupting” the law, or just “avoiding traditional practice”?).

So I founded my own writing business.

And somewhere along the way I became a certified personal trainer.

As an experienced legal content writer, my focus is on developing original, high-quality written legal content that is SEO optimized and provides value to your potential clients. I write content that is professional yet engaging.

Over the years, I have noticed an astonishing amount of poorly written legal content. Most online legal marketing content fails to engage prospective clients for one of two reasons: Either because it is so poorly written (often by a non-attorney) that it is barely understandable (and/or flat out wrong), or because it is so complex (often written by an attorney) that it is absolute death to read. In contrast, the quality written legal content I provide is professional and informative, yet easy to understand. It is optimized for SEO without resorting to “black hat” tactics like keyword stuffing, and it reads as if it was written by a professional — because it was.

The content on your law firm website may be just one component of developing a successful online marketing strategy, but it is the most critical part of that strategy. For your law firm website or blog to effectively attract and engage prospective clients, your content must be consistently and reliably well-written. As a skilled legal content writer, I can do that for you.

Your law firm content also needs to comply with your ethical obligations as a lawyer.

Non-attorney writers writing for legal marketing firms may be told to do this, but do they do it? Do they actually research your state bar’s rules on advertising, understand the rules, and then write content that complies with those rules?

As a practicing attorney, I have a thorough understanding of an attorney’s ethical obligations for advertising and in general (i.e., certain SEO tactics are unethical for lawyers to use). Having a legal writer that will ensure your website and law blog posts adhere to all the rules — both the ABA’s Model Rules on advertising and Google’s algorithms — is invaluable.

I’m on a mission to bring ethical, polished, persuasive, professional and plain language back into the online legal marketing mix. It’s my mission to give busy solos and small law firms the only SEO-optimized, Google-ranking strategy they need — high quality written legal content.
