Blogging is recognized (even by lawyers!) as one of the most powerful marketing tools available to businesses.

Statistics suggest that the average internet user reads about 10 blogs per day. Statistics also indicate that nearly 70% of all consumers find out about your company not through ads, but by reading your blog posts. Companies that blog generate 55% more website visitors than those who don’t. But just getting a bunch of long, garbage blogs out into the internet is no longer good enough. There are far too many savvy consumers on the internet for that approach to work anymore. (Sources: John D. Carlson, Search Engine Journal, & HubSpot.)

Instead, to attract and convert, your blogs need to build trust with your audience. They need to be written professionally, but conversationally. Your content needs to educate as well as engage. You have to address your client’s biggest “pain points” and then either help them through it, or help them to understand it better.

In a word, your content must deliver quality.

Consistently.

Why?

Because Search Engine Optimization (“SEO”) is not a “keyword.”

And it’s not a marketing technique.

It’s the byproduct of quality content.

That means that when it comes to your website content — all of it — it is quality, not quantity, that gets your site to rank in Google searches.

But creating quality content is time-consuming, hard work.

Especially when you are trying to run your (law or PT) business.

If you’re wondering, where can I find a law blog or personal training blog writer to help me?

The answer is, right here.

Writing law and health and fitness blogs is what I do.

Monthly Blogging Package.

With my monthly package, you will receive eight (8) 600-1,000+ word blog posts per month.

Here’s how it works:

Step 1:

We will generally have an initial phone conversation to see if we suit and want to work together. If we agree to work together, we will sign a simple contract.

Then I will spend time (by phone or zoom) to find out more about you, your business, and what topics you would like to see on your blog. Getting the blogs (or other content) right for you requires cooperation and communication on both sides. I understand that everyone is busy, but this initial investment of time to get to know each other and to clarify what you want from your content is very important. (I’m working on my psychic abilities, but so far, I can’t read minds. So we gotta talk.) Clients are asked to provide me with resources and ideas as well as writing samples, so that I can do my best to write topics you want to see on your blog and write them in a style that is as close as possible to your unique voice.

Step 2:

We start by my writing a Customized Call to Action. The Customized Call to Action will go at the end of each one of your blog posts.

I will draft a Customized Call to Action and send it to you. Your clear feedback is key to helping me get the right tone and feeling for this as well as all of your content. So, after I send the Customized Call to Action to you, we will discuss (by phone or email) and if necessary, I will revise and re-send it. Generally, one round of minor revisions is all that is necessary. (*As with changes (see the note below) the operative approach here is one of reasonableness.)

Step 3:

I research and send 8 proposed blog topics to you. These will be in the form of blog post titles. So, for example, a topic might be proposed as: “4 “Healthy” Foods To Avoid if You Want to Lose Weight.” Or, “Is Bankruptcy the Right Choice for You? Here’s How to Tell.”

The blog titles are generally fairly broad.

You review and approve the blog titles. Again, if changes are needed, we can discuss.

Step 4:

We finalize the blog post topics/titles.

Step 5:

I research and write the 8 blog posts.

Step 6:

Blog posts are sent to you.

Here is where your input is key. Especially in the beginning, it is important that you review all the posts and that you give me constructive feedback on what is and what is not working for you and why. The clearer you can be, the better it is. That’s because writing is an art, not a science. So open and constructive feedback is important. The goal here is for you to let me know what works best for you and your business. Let me know what works, what didn’t and how you think it could be improved (keeping in mind that blog posts are not articles). Again, providing me with resources or examples goes a long way towards clarifying for both of us what you want your blog posts to sound like and to do for your website.

You review and either approve or (see above) we discuss any necessary changes.

Step 7:

If *changes need to be made (see above and below), I will do that and re-send to you for approval. (The cost presumes one round of simple/reasonable changes to Customized Call to Action and 1 round of edits to the blog posts.)

You approve.

Once I receive approval, the blogs are finalized and sent to you for posting.

* A word about changes. I write the posts, but you own them. So if you want to put a comma here or a period there, or use a different word, you can always make those changes. (Although I can’t stop you, I strongly prefer that you do not change it to make grammatical errors.) In fact, I expect you to review and make little changes to the posts. Especially with law blogs. Because you are the one practicing in your area of law, it is important that you take the time to review all posts. That said, if for any reason substantive changes need to be made, I need to know about that. And if that’s the case, I will certainly make them. But if you want to go back and forth fighting over whether it should be “this” or “that” or a comma or a colon; no. The operative word here is “reasonable". I’ll make any reasonable changes that are needed.

Step 8:

We do it all again the following month!

**Please note that blogs are not articles. Articles are longer, more formal, and contain developed research and citations. If you are interested in having me write a case analysis or article for you, please send me an email.

What’s the Turnaround Time?
